This tailored made course is designed for those who are aspired to become florists, floral designers, and flower shop owners/ workers that are looking for starting a new business, or to enhance their knowledge in entrepreneurship. This course provides a series of different flower arrangements and techniques, as well as insights on the practical work/ challenges that you may face on daily basis. Upon finishing this course will receive a certification of attendance issued by PIVERDIE FORMATION DESIGN.

Session 1

Theory: Introduction of floral tools; techniques for colours and materials combination; cost calculation and control; job safety and occupational standard I; taxation issues; lists of equipment for running floral business

Session 2

Theory: Job safety and occupational standard II; LPV signature wrapping skill; operation guidelines for peak seasons & festivals

Practice: Ceremony Hampers & Hand-tied Natural Style Bouquet

Demonstration: French Floral Decoration for Reception Desks

Session 3

Theory: Bouquet delivery and precautions

Practice: Floral Box Design and Packing; French Bridal Bouquet Design; French Corsage Design

Demonstration: French Cascade (Bridal) Bouquet

Session 4

Theory: Supplier Sourcing Dos and Don’ts

Practice: 66 Stems Roses Bouquet; Field trip to local markets & suppliers for a. bouquet b. table flower arrangement c. hampers

Demonstration: 99 Stems Roses Bouquet

Session 5

Theory: Operation guidelines for IG (virtual) Shop and Physical Shop; Renovation Decoration & Design; Product Photo Standards and Photographing Skills I

Practice: Long Dinning Table Flower Arrangement & Window Display

Demonstration: French Candles Table Flower Arrangement

Session 6

Theory: Product Photo Standards and Photographing Skills II

Practice: French Wedding Decoration (arch, chair, aisle [group project] and French Wedding Car Decoration [outdoor])
